The San Patricio Municipal Water District notified the City of Portland of an exceedance of total trihalomethanes (TTHMs) in the drinking water delivered to the City of Portland. About Our Water System

The City purchases its treated drinking water from the San Patricio Municipal Water District. View information about where our water comes from.

  • Water distribution includes maintenance of the water towers, storage tanks, distribution lines, fire hydrants, and water meters throughout the city.
  • Residential wastewater collection is tasked with maintaining sewer lines and mains throughout the city. Commercial wastewater collection personnel provide guidance for proper commercial wastewater disposal and is also tasked with maintaining the sewer lines and mains throughout the city.
  • Our wastewater treatment personnel are responsible for the operations and maintenance activities at the wastewater treatment plant on Moore Avenue.
