Join the elite and become a professional lifeguard!  The City of Portland is offering the Ellis & Associates National Pool and Waterpark Lifeguard Training course for individuals 15* years of age or older. Course cost includes digital book as well as CPR, first aid, oxygen administration, AED, and lifeguard skills training. Register at the Portland Community Center or online here.

Time

  • Thursday & Friday:  5:00 - 9:00 PM 
  • Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Cost 

Those taking the course to work at the Portland Aquatic Center will not be charged the course fee - new or renewing lifeguards.

NOTE: Those taking the course who will not be working at the Portland Aquatic Center will be charged for the course.

  • New: $150.00
